A huge congratulations to our Choir who yesterday our choir took part in the heats for the Edinburgh city Glee competition at the Assembly Rooms and won! Well done Mrs Bassett for all your hard work and dedication in putting the choir together.

We as a school should be very proud of all the children’s efforts and their behaviour was excellent – real ambassadors for the school.  The choir were described as a ‘well-oiled machine, embodying strong teamwork with individual flair’. Josh Lamb was singled out for particular praise as soloist. They performed The Best Day of My Life’ and ‘Uptown Funk’ with confidence and skill. . They are now going to practise hard for the finals at the end of May! I am sure you will all join with me in wishing them well !
